This book was so good! It gave me the second wind I needed to finish the year out strong and work on myself fully in 2034. The emphasis of “years” throughout Santiago’s journey truly stuck with me. I’m going through phases that feel yearly- and transitioning to the next big thing that God has in store.

I literally smiled when the mugger at the pyramid said where the treasure was. Sometimes at our lowest we reach our high.

I highly recommend this book not just as a motivational book but also a good short filler for breaking up long heavy reading like I did with the ACOTAR series and Twilight Saga. 

I give the  Alchemist a 5/5 and I hope if you read this title you will find inspiration, motivation and wonder in the story as well.
